Meet Your Journey Companion – Joanna
I’m Joanna — educator, Midlife Alchemist, lifelong learner, Transformation Travel Coach, travel seeker, and cultural lover.
But beyond titles, I am a woman who has lived a life of exploration — across countries, languages, histories, and human stories.
From raising my son as a single mother to living and teaching around the world, seeking meaning through connection has always been at the heart of who I am.
Change has been my greatest teacher — and travel, my greatest healer.
Yet midlife — with all its unexpected shifts, losses, and awakenings — brought me to a deeper crossroads. I chose not to shrink back, but to step forward — into the unknown once again.
Travel became my rebirth, my way of remembering who I truly am beneath all the layers.
Now, it's my deepest honor to walk beside other women as they step into their own season of transformation.

Meet Your Journey Companion – Alina
My name is Alina. I’m 57. A happy wife, a mother of two — and a woman who, five years ago, followed her heart and moved to Puglia, a sun-kissed region in southern Italy. Before that, I lived for twenty years in Saint Petersburg, the cultural capital of Russia. By origin, Im Ukrainian.
Together with my Italian husband, I’ve been creating authentic journeys through Puglia — heartfelt, personal, full of taste and meaning. We’ve welcomed guests from all over the world, in private and group tours up to 45 people always with warmth and care. Our guests came from America, Canada, Norway, Australia, Philippines, France, Belgium, Denmark, Kazakhstan and many others. In total we have organized about 70 tours.
But all these years, I quietly dreamed of something more — something just for women. When I met Joanna, the founder of Midlife Butterflies, it felt like a soul meeting. We shared the same values, the same vision — and this retreat was born.
Joanna will guide us as a coach. My role is to hold the space — to make sure you feel seen, cared for, and truly at home. Because I’m not just an organizer. I’m one of you.
I’m living through my own transformations — a new country, a new marriage, this powerful season of midlife. And I know how deeply we need each other. How healing it is to come together — to rest, to open up, to be real.
I believe this retreat will gift us a space where we can be ourselves, feel support and closeness. And perhaps, from here, a new circle will be born — a community of women inspiring each other and traveling together from journey to journey!
